What is the 'Asynchronous HTTP' Transfer Type?

The Asynchronous HTTP Transfer Type is commonly known as Throttled.  In this method, when Leadshot receives an inbound lead that passes filters, it is saved in the system and placed in the outbound transfer queue.  A second process running on approximately 5 minute intervals will then send these queued leads to the outbound service as it is configured in the campaign settings.  You can tune the daily delivery rate at which queued leads are sent by the value given in the Daily Cap / Throttle setting.
